Cap-Pelé, NB (Castel Des Flots Bleus) – Irène Collette, 76, passed away suddenly at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Léandre and Laura (LeBlanc) Brun.
Irène will be sadly missed by her life partner, Léo-Paul Babineau; two daughters, Florence Duguay of Moncton and Jeannette Collette (Bernard Savoie) of Bouctouche; her three brothers, Normand (late Aldona), Gérard (Rachelle) both of Grande-Digue and Edmond (Jovette) of Gardner, Mass; her three sisters, Léona LeBlanc (Ovile) of Cocagne, Jeannita Cormier (Gérard) of Cap-Pelé and Stella LeBlanc (Jean-Paul) of Bouctouche; her precious grandson, Stéphane Duguay (Alicia); also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Emery, Léonard and Valmond; her sister, Viola Léger.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will be at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11 am. Reception will follow at Notre-Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
