Grand-Barachois, NB – Irene Leger, 60, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, June 9, 2018.
Born in Shediac, NB, she was the daughter of the late Laurie and Armande (nee Richard) Fougère.
Irene will be sadly missed by her children, Maryse Leger (Mario Arsenault) of Scoudouc, Debbie Gaudet (Joey) of Grand-Barachois and Jason Leger of Moncton; her siblings, Hervé Fougère (Jeanita) of Memramcook, Annette Brun (Laurie) of Shediac, Georgette Leger (late Antoine) of Grand-Barachois, Thérèse Gallant (Joe) of Moncton and Jacqueline Leger (Omer) of Grand-Barachois; her six grandchildren, Gabrielle, Nicholas, Sébastien, Karine, Shanessa and Patrick; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her three brothers, Joseph, Norbert and Aristide.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 9 am until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Autism Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
