Born in Bouctouche, NB, he was the son of the late Gerard and the late Roseline Chenard (nee Berthe).

Jean-Claude will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Bernadette; his two daughters, Rachelle (Michel) of Cocagne and Nathalie (Jamie) of Grand-Barachois; his three brothers, Roger (Debbie) of Moncton, Marcel (Jeannette) of Dieppe and Bernard (Denise) of Grande-Digue; his sister, Gisèle (Vernon) of Gallagher Ridge; his three grandchildren, Mathieu, Yanik and Malik.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Vincent and Conrad.

Visitations will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel Slumber room in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 5:00pm until time of Funeral service at Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel RC Church at 7:00pm.

In Jean-Claude’s memory, donation can be made to the Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel RC Church.
