Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Aimé and the late Christine Gallant (born Poirier).

Jean was the last surviving member of her family; she is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert (Bob); five brothers, Edelor, Emmanuel, Éloi, Réginald and infant, Joseph; her six sisters, Baptistine, Lorette, Edna, Élizabeth, infant Bertha and infant Hermeline.

Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Monday, May 20, 2019, from 9am until time of funeral at Passage Chapel at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the IWK Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
