St-Antoine, NB – We sadly announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister and friend, Jeanne Arsenault, 75, who passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, May 2, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and the late Aurélie (Richard) LeBlanc.
Jeanne will be remembered for her immense love of animals. Taking care of her special furry friend Tipsy brightened her days. She was passionate about many birds that would flock her backyard. She was especially fond of the hummingbirds. Above all, the most important thing in her life was to take care of her family. She would have given them everything that she had if she could. She had the most generous soul.
She leaves in mourn her daughter, Charline Gaston (Sherman) of Moncton and her son, Paul (Danielle) of St-Antoine. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Sr. Jeanne-Mance LeBlanc of Gaspé, QC, Jean-Noël (Jeannine) of Laval, QC, Jacqueline LeBlanc (Robert) of Trois-Rivière, QC, Anne-Marie Cormier (Alyre) of St-Antoine, Jacinthe Vautour (Aris) of Dieppe and her sister-in-law, Elise LeBlanc (Al) of St-Antoine; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alyre; one son, André; one brother, Jean-Paul and one nephew, Daniel Cormier.
Visitations will be at the St-Antoine-l’Ermite slumber room in St-Antoine, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the St-Antoine-l’Ermite RC Church in St-Antoine, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kent County Animal Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
