Moncton, NB – It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Jeannine Melanson (nee Soucy) a few days shy of her 87th birthday. She was predeceased by her parents, Armand and Florence Soucy, and her only brother, Armand Jr.
Jeannine will be missed by her beloved husband, Arnaud Melanson; her seven children, Denise, Giselle (Paul), Martin (Pierrette), Monique (Daniel), Nicolle (James), Adrien (Carolle), Armand (Louise) and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Until the latter years of her life, Jeannine demonstrated a wonderful zest for life and followed her many passions including bowling, flower gardening, playing bridge and cribbage, spending time at the cottage in Saint-Edouard, and travelling. But her true love remained to the very end her husband and her family.
The family deeply appreciates the loving care that Jeannine received by the tender-hearted caregivers at Protem, where she spent her last 3 years.
A private memorial ceremony will be held for the family.
