Moncton, NB – Joan Peabody, 88, passed away peacefully at the City Hospital in Moncton, on Tuesday, August 27, 2019.
Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Angus K. and Hilda A. Crawford (born Dooks).
Joan will be missed by her two sons, Stephen Dale Peabody of Victoria, BC and Craig Lee Peabody of Ottawa, ON.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Peabody (2013); her brother Bruce; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Crawford and Dorothy Clark (George) of Fredericton.
In respect to Joan’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at St.George’s Anglican Church (51 Church St, Moncton), on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
