Moncton, NB – Jocelyne LaBelle, 55, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, March 24, 2013, after a brief illness.
Born in Moncton, NB on September 23, 1957, she was the daughter of Alphée and the late Alberta (Thibodeau) Richard.
Jocelyne will be sadly missed by her husband, Joseph LaBelle of Moncton; her son, Alexandre George LaBelle of Petawawa, ON; her two daughters, Jennifer Kane of Saint John, NB and Carolyne Annabelle LaBelle of Kingston, ON; her father, Alphée of Moncton; her two brothers, Dr. Norbert Richard (Sharon) of Moncton and Michel Richard (Sheila Hancock) of Dartmouth, NS; her sister, Gisèle Cormier (Gervais) of Dieppe; her mother-in-law, Agnes of Cocagne; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her mother, Alberta, she was predeceased by her father-in-law, George LaBelle.
Visitations will be at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. No visitations on Thursday. Funeral service will be held at the St. Bernard’s RC Church, 43 Botsford St., Moncton on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11 am.
Donation to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital (dept. of Neuro Surgery) or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
