Shediac – Joseph Edgar LeBlanc, 79, previously of Shediac Bridge, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, March 1st, 2012, after a brief illness.
Born in Aylesford, NS on February 18, 1933 he was the son of the late Edgar Joseph LeBlanc and late Celeste Williams.
Joseph Edgar will be sadly missed by his two sons, Stéphane of Shediac and Richard (Diane) of Sudbury, ON; his two daughters, Chantal LeBlanc of Dieppe and Lynn (Bob) Boucher of Azilda, ON; his three brothers, Lawrence (Victorine) LeBlanc of Shediac, Clément LeBlanc and Camille (Marie), both of Dieppe; his two sisters, Corinne (Forbes) Kay of Summerside, PEI and Mildred (Aubrey) Maillet of Ste-Anne-de-Kent; his four grandchildren, Mathieu, Eric, Lise and Luc; his two great grandchildren, Caleb and Aiden; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Louis; one infant brother, Donald and one sister, Mildred (13 years old).
In respect to Joseph Edgar’s wishes, there will be no visitations or funeral service.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Lung Association (NB) or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
