Moncton, NB – Joseph Gérald Hachez, 76, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L-.Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
Born in Rogersville, NB, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Philomène (Maillet) Haché.
Gérald will be sadly missed by his daughter, Joanne Hachez (Pierre Richard) of Collette, NB; his son, Michael (Cindy) of Milford, MA; his five sisters, Alma (Clarence) Aucoin of Waltham, MA,
Rita (late Richard) Bartleman of Dieppe, Isabelle (Roland) Jones of Vaudreuil, QC, Eveline Haché (Richard Lachance) of Cocagne and Eva (Mike) McGraw of Moncton; his four brothers, Marcel (Jeanette) of Edmundston, Ernest (Viola) of Dieppe, Gerard (Jacqueline) of Dieppe, Jean-Guy (Isabelle) of St-Zotique, QC; his two granddaughters, Gabrielle Cormier of Moncton and Charline Cormier (Joey Eagles) of Cocagne; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Delvina (February 2016); one sister, Marie (late Johnny) Aucoin and two brothers, Aldéric (Aline) and Edmond.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 pm until time of funeral at Passage Funeral Chapel at 7:30pm.
