Riverview, NB – It is with sadness we announce the passing of Joyce Martin (90), on Saturday, January 14th, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Cyrus Martin of Charlottetown, PEI. Loving mother of Leslie (Brian Ward), Anne (Doug Kinchen), Janet (Dean Weatherston) and Ken. Adored Grandma of Ashley, Melanie, Kaitlin, Brittany, Laura, Erin and Jenny. Great-Grandma of Korra, Connor, Mason, Emma and Hadley. Dear Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was born in Montreal, the youngest daughter of William and Louise Wilson. She was predeceased by her sisters Ruth Barrie, Olive Ross, Grace Ritchie, Helen Woolmer and her brothers Ted Wilson, Dick Wilson, Donald Wilson, David Wilson and William Wilson. As well she was predeceased by her Island family, Rachel (Alden Buchannan), Miriam (Ben Cousins), Alice (Robert Aiken) and Alistair Martin.

Family was everything to Mom. We will all miss her and cherish our wonderful memories. In keeping with her wishes, a grave side service will be held in the spring at Hartsville Presbyterian Church, Prince Edward Island.

If desired, donations may be made in her memory to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada or to Canadian Blood Services.
