Moncton, NB – On Friday, March 22, 2019, Judy Katie Lutes was called away from her loving family, peacefully, at her home in Moncton, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of the late Kirby and the late Lillian Leighton (born Masters).

She was a gentle loving person, she spent most of her life working as a special caregiver. Judy took pride in what she did best, nurturing people. A wonderful homemaker she was, always there with open arms to love and take care of her family.

She sadly leaves behind her husband, Paul Stewart Matheson, her loving sons, Randy Wayne Lutes of Memramcook and Paul Jeffrey Matheson of Moncton. She will be forever missed by her adoring stepchildren, Justin (Gillian) and Tanya Matheson (Jean-Remi) both of Moncton. Also, she will be greatly missed by her lifelong friend, Marjorie Steeves, who was greatly loved and appreciated by Judy.

There will be no visitations at Judy’s request. A celebration of life will be held in Judy’s honor for Family and friends at her residence.

A donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
