It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Léa Landry (née: Roy) which occurred at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center on Thursday, June 14th, 2018.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Irene (née: Arsenault) Roy. She was a resident of Villa du Repos, Moncton.
Léa was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was musically gifted, loved quilting, crafting and was passionate about those she loved. She had great faith in the Lord.
Lea will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Rodrigue Landry and her children: Daniel McGraw (Anne), André McGraw (Darlene) and Jean McGrath (John Eagles); grandchildren: Matthew McGraw and Joseph McGraw.
She will also be sadly missed by her sisters and brothers: Rita Melanson (Dollard) of Dieppe, Bertha Comeau (Francis) of Dalhousie, Armand Roy (Jeanne) of Moncton, Régis Roy (Edna) of Moncton, Roger Roy (late Jane Barrieau) of Parkway, MA, Diane LeBlanc (Ulysse) of Memramcook, Jean-Paul Roy of Waltham, MA, Rose-Marie Landry (Al Boudreau) of Rindge, NH, Pauline Boudreau (Camille) of Dieppe, late Guillaume Roy (Dorilla), and Julia Doucet (Gilles) of Dieppe; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Léa was predeceased by her first husband, Hector McGraw.
No visitation at the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Notre-Dame de Grâce Roman Catholic Church, Moncton on Monday, June 18th, 2018 at 2 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
