Born on Shediac Island, NB, he was the son of the late Louis and the late Evangeline Clements.
Prior to retirement, Laurie was a lobster fisherman.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeannette (Boudreau); his children: Lorraine, Steven and Micheal (Nancy); his siblings: Pauline, Steven and Marie Mai; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Sally and by his brothers: Ronald, Clovis, Ernest, David and Russell.
Respecting Laurie’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held.
In his memory, a donation can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
