Cocagne, NB – Laurie Cormier, 83, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, November 26, 2015.

Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Edmond and the late Amanda (Goguen) Cormier.

Laurie will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia (Girouard); his three sons, Réginald (Pauline), Daniel (Rachelle), both of Notre-Dame, and Alain (Janice) of Cocagne; his daughter, Joanne (Rodrigue) of Grande-Digue; his nine grandchildren, Julie, Lise, Nicole, Mathieu, Josée, Tammy, Justin, Sébastien and Joël; his seven great grandchildren, Vanessa, Véronique, Jessica, Chloé, Malec, Jade and Janyka; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three children, Serge, Lauria, Micheline; one brother, Saül; three sisters, Régina, Sarah, Phyllis and one grandson, Adams.

Visitations will be at the Slumber Room in the St-Pierre de Cocagne Church on Sunday, November 29th, from 7 to 9 pm and on Monday, November 30th, from 9:30 am until time of the funeral.

Funeral service will be held at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 30th at 11 am.

Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital (Oncology Dept.) or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
