Dieppe, NB – Laurie L. Gallant, 84, formerly of Shediac Bridge, passed away suddenly at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, March 30, 2015, after a brief illness.
Born in Shediac Bridge, NB, he was the son of the late Amédée and the late Viola (Petitpas) Gallant.
Laurie will be sadly missed by his wife, Anita (Léger) Gallant; his three sons, Michel of Moncton, Eugène (Debbie) of Shediac Bridge and Laurie E. of Dieppe; his two daughters, Laurianne Brown (Wayne) of Notre-Dame and Georgina Martin (Denis) of Dieppe; his two brothers, Léo (Précilla) of Shediac Bridge, Normand (Noëlla) of Grande-Digue; his three sisters, Géraldine Bourgeois (Fernand) of Shediac Bridge, Angela Gallant (late Frank) and Yvonne Babineau (late Raymond) both of Shediac River; his six grandchildren, Garett, Meaghan, Josh, Amie, Julien and Jeremy; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Émile and Ronald.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 9:30 am until time of service. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, Shediac-Bridge on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11 am. Burial will take place this spring at La Visitation RC Cemetery in Grande-Digue.
