Grand-Barachois, NB – Léo Doiron, 70, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Grand-Barachois on May 22, 1943, he was the son of the late Stanislas and Madeleine (Allain) Doiron.
Léo will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeannette (LeBlanc); his son, Marc of Grand-Barachois; his daughter, Suzanne of Grand-Barachois; his three brothers, Jean-Paul (Florence), Gérald (Rita) and Francis (Lucille), all of Grand-Barachois; his sister, Bertina Belliveau (Emile) of Boudreau West; also by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In respect to Léo wishes, there will be no visitations and no funeral service.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont (Palliative Care Unit) or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
