Léo Paul Bourque passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Shediac Bridge, NB.

Born in Moncton, NB, on April 24, 1924, he was the son of the late Jeanne (Landry) and of the late Thaddée Bourque.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 69 years of marriage, Louise (née Gallant); his six children, Paulette (Zaki Yazbeck), Pierre, Denise (late John Thomas Saunders), Charles (Susan McEniry), Gilles, and Rachel (Joël Godet); one grandson, Nicholas; six granddaughters, Caroline, Nathalie, Elissa (Shawn Girard), Christina, Laurence, and Mélina; three step grandchildren, Robert (Sylvie), Wendy (Brent), and Steve (Karen); two great granddaughters, Yarden and Samarah; one great grandson, Joshua; one sister, Thérèse (late André “Babe” Belliveau) (Emery Sonier); one sister-in-law, Blanche (late Léandre LeGresley); by persona grata, Fernando Faria, Marie-Ange Fournier.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Hélène (late Antoine LeBlanc); his brothers, André (late Fernande Fréchet), Henri (late Rita Poirier), and Yvon.

Léo Paul was a member in the Order of the Knights of Columbus of Grande-Digue, NB.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, NB on Thursday February 28, 2019 at 11:00 am.
