Scoudouc, NB – Léo-Paul Siméon Bourgeois, 75, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Monday, February 8, 2021.
Born in Shediac, NB, he was the son of the late Siméon and Rita Bourgeois (born Vautour).
Besides his mother, Léo-Paul will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Francine; his sons: Mario (Jacky) and Marc; his brothers: his twin Jean-Paul (Martial), Roger (Carmella), Guy (late Gertrude), Donald (Irma) and Maurice (Louise); also by his niece and his 4 nephews.
Léo-Paul was a veteran of the Cold War from 1960 -1965. He was also a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, District #11 and Council #10271 and a member of the Golden Age Club of Scoudouc.
Public visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm. Funeral will be celebrated with the family only and will be broadcast online at: www.facebook.com/PassageFH at 4:30 pm. (Click on link to access page)
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the St-Jacques-Le-Majeur Parish in Scoudouc or to a charity of your choice.
