Leopold “Paul” Richard, 80, of Nepean, ON, passed away on Saturday, October 4th 2008 at his residence. Born in Amesbury, Mass., he was the son of the late Philias and the late Marie (née: Belliveau) Richard.
Mr. Richard moved to the Ottawa area in 1969, where he worked as an insurance adjuster.
He is survived by three sisters: Rhea (Fred) Bujold of Campbellton, NB, Germaine Dumont and Geraldine Coughlan, both of Moncton, NB; three brothers: Fred (Edwidge) of Dieppe, NB, Roger (Francine) of Tide Head, NB and Charlie (Joan) of St. Catharines, ON as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bernadette (née: Levesque) in 1986; two sisters: Cora and Pauline and also by one brother, Frank.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Roman Catholic Church, Campbellton, NB on Saturday, October 25th 2008 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Parish Cemetery, Campbellton, NB.

Né à Amesbury, Mass., il était fils de feu Philias et the feu Marie (née: Belliveau) Richard.
M. Richard s’était installer dans la région d’Ottawa depuis 1969 où il travaillait comme ajusteur d’assurance.
Il laisse dans deuil trois soeurs: Rhea (Fred) Bujold de Campbellton, N.-B., Germaine Dumont et Geraldine Coughlan, toutes deux de Moncton, N.-B.; trois frères: Fred (Edwidge) de Dieppe, N.-B., Roger (Francine) de Tide Head, N.-B. et Charlie (Joan) de St Catharines, ON ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Son épouse, Bernadette née: Levesque (1986); deux soeurs: Cora et Pauline ainsi qu’un frère, Frank l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dames des Neiges, Campbellton, N.-B. le samedi 25 octobre, 2008 à 11h.
