Lester LeBlanc, 102, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, July 4th, 2014, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in Lakeburn, NB, he was the son of the late Alphée and the late Elise (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Mr. LeBlanc enjoyed Bingo; cards: especially « 200 » and « Wisk »; and bowling. He was a member of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette parish and a trustee for l’École de Lakeburn from 1950 to 1954.
He is survived by four daughters: Audette LeBlanc (Frank) and Pauline (Willie) Bastarache, both of Dieppe; Bernice (Gordie) Davis of North Bay, ON and Bernadette (Alex) Bastarache, also of Dieppe; four sons: Paul (Joyce) of Galloway, Gerard (Anita) of Moncton, Guy (Lauza) and Joseph, both of Dieppe; 42 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marie in 1997; one daughter-in-law, Linda; five sisters: Bella, Laura, Beatrice, Ozithe and Elda and also by three brothers: Arthur, Martin and Philias.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church, (Lakeburn), on Tuesday, July 8th, 2014 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

Au Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le vendredi 4 juillet 2014, à l’âge de 102 ans, est décédé Lester LeBlanc. Il demeurait à Dieppe, N.-B.
Né à Lakeburn, N.-B., il était fils de feu Alphée et de feu Elise (née LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
M. LeBlanc aimait jouer au Bingo; au cartes: spécialement les jeux de “ 200” et “Wisk”; et aux quilles. Il était membre de la paroisse Notre-Dame-de-Lorette et représentant pour l’École de Lakeburn pendant les années 1950 à 1954.
Il laisse dans le deuil quatre filles: Audette LeBlanc (Frank) et Pauline (Willie) Bastarache, toute deux de Dieppe; Bernice (Gordie) Davis de North Bay, ON et Bernadette (Alex) Bastarache, aussi de Dieppe; quatre fils: Paul (Joyce) de Galloway, Gerard (Anita) de Moncton, Guy (Lauza) et Joseph, tous deux de Dieppe; 42 petits-enfants; 10 arrière petits-enfants; 3 arrière-arrière petits-enfants, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son épouse, Marie en 1997; une bru, Linda; cinq soeurs: Bella, Laura, Beatrice, Ozithe et Elda, ainsi que trois frères: Arthur, Martin et Philias l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B. (857-1901) le lundi de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h et le mardi de 10h jusqu’à l’heure du départ.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lorette (Lakeburn), le mardi 8 juillet, 2014, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au Cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire à Dieppe, N.-B.
Un don à la Fondation CHU Dumont « Oncologie » serait apprécié par la famille.
