Leominster, MA (formerly from Shediac Bridge) – Lorette Allain, 87, passed away at the Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster, MA, on Monday, September 10, 2018, after a brief illness.

Born in Shediac Bridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and the late Elise (Petitpas) Babineau. Lorette loved to spend time with friends and family. She loved to play bingo and to play cards.

Lorette will be sadly missed by her three sons, Gerald Allain (Gail) and Raymond Allain , both of Leominster, MA, and Robert Richard (Helen) of Mississauga, ON; by her two brothers, Alfred Babineau (Viola) of Shediac Bridge, and Roger Babineau (Anne) of Shediac; by her five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leandre (1982); her daughter, Geraldine; five sisters, Yvette Breau, Ernestine Goulet, Leota Anderson, Ida Cormier and Claudette Steeves; six brothers, Alphonse, Aquila, Raymond, Alban, Gerard and Amedee.

Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm only. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11 am.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
