Lorraine Gaudet, 79, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, March 31st, 2006 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.

Born in Pré-D’en-Haut, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Dora (née: Gould) Gautreau.

Mrs. Gaudet was a member of the Club d’Âge d’Or de Dieppe and a parishioner of St.-Anselme Roman Catholic Church.

Mrs. Gaudet is survived by three daughters: Joanne (Paul) Halle of Rocky Hill, Conn, Linda (André) Blouin of Canton, Conn and Jeanette (Kevin) Williams of Cromwell, Conn; two sons: Norman (Joan) of Wallingford, Conn and Donald (Donna) of Wethersfield, Conn; five sisters: Prima LeBlanc of Pré-D’en-Haut, Althea Dupuis of Dieppe, Doris Léger of Moncton, Marguerite (Léonard) Gionet of St. Joseph and Lillianne (Ernest) Hébert of Pré-D’en-Haut; three brothers: Camille Gautreau of Pré-D’en-Haut, Frank (Thérèse) Gautreau of Dieppe and Laurie Gautreau of Moncton, also by one sister-in-law: Dorilla Gautreau of Dieppe, ten grandchildren: Michael (Amanda), Eric (Christina), Mark, Brian, Natalie, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Nicole, Janelle and Joseph as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gaudet was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1999 and by one brother Fred.

Visitation was held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Sunday and will be held on Monday from 10 am until time of departure.

Funeral mass will be celebrated from St.-Anselme Roman Catholic Church on Monday, April 3rd, 2006 at 11 am. Interment in St. Thomas Parish Cemetery, Memramcook, NB.

Donations to the Dr. Georges L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation or the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
