MALENFANT, Lorraine Catherine – with her family by her side at the Woodland Villa, Long Sault, ON, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011, in her 94th year. She and her identical twin sister were born in Memramcook, NB. Born on January 4th, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Abbe Bourgeois and the late Leonie (née: Mills) Bourgeois. Faithful wife and companion of the late Ferdinand Malenfant, she took great joy in motherhood and raised her five children with humour, love and often unconventional opinions on almost everything.
She will be sadly missed by her sons: Dennis (Gail) of Muskoka, ON, Mike (Carol) of Pincourt, QC and David (Natalie) of Bordeaux, France and her daughters: Marilyn Ault (Carl) of Lunenburg, ON and Jane Wood of Toronto, ON.
She also enjoyed and left lasting memories with her fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She leaves behind two sisters: Emma Gautreau (late Bill) of Moncton, NB and Yolande Letinin (late Frank) of New Westminster, BC.
She was predeceased by her siblings: twin sister, Bernadette Briggs (Hiram), Bertha Tower (Ross), Francis (Coreen), Aldrice (Laudia) and Camille Eugene, all of Memramcook, NB.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901), on Wednesday, August 8th, 2012 from 9:30 am, followed by a memorial service at 10:30 am.

Née à Memramcook, N.-B., le 4 janvier 1918, elle était fille de feu Abbe et de feu Leonie (née: Mills) Bourgeois.
Elle laisse dans le deuil trois fils: Dennis (Gail) de Muskoka, ON, Mike (Carol) de Pincourt, QC et David (Natalie) de Bordeaux, France; deux filles: Marilyn Ault (Carl) de Lunenburg, ON et Jane Wood de Toronto, ON; 15 petits-enfants; 11 arrière-petits-enfants; deux sœurs: Emma Gautreau (feu Bill) de Moncton, N.-B. et Yolande Letinin (feu Frank) de New Westminster, C.-B., ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son époux, Ferdinand; ses frères et soeurs: sa jumelle, Bernadette Briggs (Hiram), Bertha Tower (Ross), Francis (Coreen), Aldrice (Laudia) et Camille Eugene l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le mercredi 8 août, 2012 à compter de 9h 30, suivit des funérailles à la chapelle, à 10h 30.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.
