Born in Lamèque, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Laura Mai Robichaud (nee Luce).
Lorraine will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Luce Richard (Rodrigue) of Moncton, Colette Reimnitz (Roger) of Dieppe, Diane Chassé (Marc) of Moncton and Pauline Mazerolle of Halifax, NS; by her two sons, Louis (Audette) of Dalhousie and Philippe (Jacinthe) of Balmoral; by her three sisters, Gaëtane Benoit (Bernard) of Lamèque, Virginia Ward (Norbert) of Oshawa, ON and Nicole Harper (John) of Fredericton; by her brother, Robert of Oshawa, ON; by her three daughters-in-law, June Kingsley of Halifax, NS, Darlene Munn of Halifax, NS and Shirley Wadup of Halifax, NS; by her seventeen grandchildren; by her fourteen great grandchildren; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Elzéar Mazerolle, by her two sons, Richard and Robert, by her grandson, Éric, by her four sisters, Zelma Haché, Magella Robichaud, Yvette Goupil and Alice Robichaud, by her seven brothers, Adelbert, Théodule, Clarence, Rolland, Aldin, Adoris and Raoul.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, NB on Thursday, March 31st, 2016 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and from 7:00pm – 9:00pm and on Friday, April 1st, 2016 from 9:30am till 10:30am. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton on Friday, April 1st, 2016 at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe later in the spring.
