Louis Landry, 85, of Riverview (formerly of Dieppe) passed away on Monday, February 24th, 2020, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Cap-Pele, he was the son of the late Adelard and late Florence (LeBlanc) Landry.
Louis was a machinist with the CN for 42 years. He will be sadly missed by his long time soulmate Gail Roberts, 2 daughters: Annette of Cap-de-Cocagne and Nicole of Moncton; 4 sons: Bernard of Calgary, Dr. Claude of Montreal, René of Cap-de- Cocagne and Gilles (Francine) of Dieppe; 1 brother: Marcel (Marguerite) of Moncton; 2 grandchildren: Jennifer and Monica; 3great grandchildren: Danika, Bianka and Zander; 2 great-great grandchildren: Dawson and Paislee and several nieces and nephews.
Louis was predeceased by one daughter Louise (1961); 3 sisters: Maria, Sylvia and Thérèse; and one brother: Antoine.
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 2-4pm and Friday February 28 2020 ,from 9:30 am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be held at Sainte- Thérèse Church, Dieppe, NB, Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11am.
Interment at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
Visitation thursday from 7 to 9 pm canceled because of the storm.
