Grande-Digue, NB – Louise Gallant, 87, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, January 18, 2019.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arsène Gallant and the late Rosalie Donelle.
Louise will be sadly missed by her three children, Daniel (Diane) of Shediac, Cécile Savoie of Grande-Digue and Gilles (Cathy) of Moncton; by her eight siblings, Lorraine Léger (late Emerie), Lévis (Marguerite) both of Grande-Digue, Lucie Després (Yvon) of Bouctouche, Léon-Paul (Marie-Paul), Lucien (Rachel), Léa Girouard (Aldérie), Léonce (Bernice), Laurent (Denise) all of Grande-Digue; five grandchildren, André, Josée, Joel, Denis and Nicolas; three great grandchildren, Rayna, Kamren and Soralie; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Gallant; one baby granddaughter, Chantal.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitations on Tuesday morning. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
