Born in Memramcook, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Marie (nee Bourque) Melanson.
Louise will be sadly missed by her husband, Ernest Goguen of Le Bons Soins, Shediac; her four children, Murielle LeBlanc-Sutherland (Lloyd) of Fredericton, Terry LeBlanc (Sharon Johnson) of Moncton, Jules LeBlanc (Bev) of Whitehorse, Yukon, Maria LeBlanc (Bernard) of Saint-Antoine; her step-son, Claude Goguen of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA; her sister, Violette Lavoie (Gerry) of Shediac; her two sister-in-laws, Florence Donkin of Moncton, Edith Goguen of Saint-Antoine; her brother-in-law, Hervé LeBlanc of Moncton; 9 grandchildren; her 11 grand-grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Emile LeBlanc; her son Paul-Emile LeBlanc, her two sisters, Irène LeBlanc, Rita Gaudet; her four brothers, Edgar Melanson, Walter Melanson, Henri Melanson, Léopold Melanson.
Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, Shediac-Bridge on Tuesday, December 30th, 2014 at 2:00pm. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Calvary at a later date.
