Moncton (formerly of Grande-Digue), NB – Lucie Caissie Girard, 64, passed away peacefully at Villa du Repos in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, February 27, 2017.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Eva-Mai Caissie.
Lucie will be sadly missed by her son, Barrett Wayne Bishop (Renée Atkinson) of Moncton; her six brothers, Jean-Claude (Gloria), Laurie (Raymonde) both of St-Gabriel, Joseph (Yvette), Paul (Sandra) both of Grande-Digue, Hervé (Cécile) of Brampton, ON and Maurice (Suzanne) of Grande-Digue; her eight sisters, Annette Fagan (Alphée) of Lakeville, Bernadette Léger (Yvon), Lorette Boudreau (Ronald) both of Grande-Digue, Blanche LeBlanc (Ronald) of St-Antoine, Justine LeBlanc of Moncton, Sophie Caissie (Alain) of Grande-Digue, Rose-May Goguen (Jacques) of Notre-Dame and Huberte LeBlanc (Yvon) of Dieppe; she is also survived by James Paul Girard and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Rhéal LeBlanc; two infant sisters, Patricia and Jeannine; one brother, Armand.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm and 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 7 pm. Reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
