Lucie M. Calam, 52, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, December 12th, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital following a long courageous battle with breast cancer.
Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of Priscille (née: Haché) and the late Gérard Cormier.
She had been employed by K.F.C.
Beside her mother, Priscille Cormier of Rogersville, she is survived by her husband Ron; one daughter, Chantal Allain of Moncton; one son, Mathieu Allain (Christel) of Dieppe; four sisters: Rita (Eugène) Babineau of Marlboro, Mass, Lorraine (Alcide) Gagnon of Miramichi, Anne-Marie (Emile) Caissie of Rogersville and Juliette (late Armand) Gautreau of Memramcook; four brothers: Regis (Majella) Cormier of Pré-d’en-Haut, Raymond (Geneva) Cormier, Eddie Cormier and Antoine (Lina) Cormier all three of Rogersville; one grandson, Sébastien; two step daughters: Melanie and Lindsay Calam, both of Dieppe as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, she was predeceased by her 1st husband, Gérard Allain.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday December 14th, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 1 pm until time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, December 15th, 2006 at 3 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
