Notre-Dame, N.-B. ~ Marcel LeBlanc, 54, passed away, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University
Hospital Center on Thursday, February 4th, 2021. Raised in Irishtown, NB, he was the son of the
late Gerald « The Horn« LeBlanc and Géraldine LeBlanc born Léger from Irishtown, NB.
Marcel will be sadly missed by his son Olivier, Sophie, mother of his son, He is also survived by
his mother Géraldine; his sister, Monique (Gary Belyea); his brother, Daniel and his niece,
Catherine; as well as several aunts, uncle, cousins and friends especially Marc Haché whom was a support to him.
Marcel was an avid sportsman and enjoyed the outdoors, specially driving his skidoo and
Gardening and he liked to play Crib. He was one of the biggest fan of Geddy Lee, the ‘’Rush’’ band and a Leafs Fan.
Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Friday, February 26th, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm, the Celebration of his life will follow on Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at 11am at the Chapel, note that there will be no visitations the morning of the Celebration. Due to the Current Pandemic, a maximum of 25 peoples at a time in the Funeral Home will be allowed. Besides his father, Marcel was predeceased by his nephew Jonathan « Jon, Jonny« LeBlanc.
The family would to thank Dre. Anik Savoie for her support and the staff of the palliative care
unit at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre for their care and support.
In respect of Marcel’s wishes, kindly make a donation to the Vestiaire St-Joseph of Shediac, NB
