Born in St. Norbert, NB, she was the daughter the late Eddie and the late Élmina Maillet (nee Babineau).

Marguerite will be sadly missed by her daughter, Carol LeBlanc (Luc Allain) of Cocagne; by her seven sisters, Loretta Allain (late Laurie) of Saint-Antoine-de-Kent, Rezeda Maillet (late Elias) of Saint-Antoine-de-Kent, Jeannita Boucher (Léo) of Chelmsford, Mass., USA, Émilienne Bastarache (late Éric) of Paxton, Mass., USA, Florence LeBlanc (Roméo) of Gardner, Mass., USA, Stella Carlson (late Budd) of Lunenburg, Mass., USA and Simonne Maillet of Moncton; by her three brothers, Octave (Thérèse) of Shediac, Jean (Odette) of Leominster, Mass., USA and Roméo (late Paul) of Boynton Beach, FL., USA; by her sister-in-law, Joanne Maillet of Westminster, Mass., USA; by her brother-in-law, Raymond LeBlanc of Montgomery, PA, USA; by her grandson, Dominick Cormier; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Louise Gautreau and Yvette LeBlanc; by her brothers, Alphée and Léandre; by her infant sister, Noëlla Maillet and by her infant brothers, Alfred & Calixte.

Visitation will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite slumber room, 24 avenue de l’Église, Saint-Antoine-de-Kent, on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 2:00pm to 2:50pm. Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Antoine l’Ermite RC Church, 24 avenue de l’Église, Saint-Antoine-de-Kent, on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 3:00pm.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the palliative care unit at the Dr. George-L.-Dumont UHC for the wonderful care Marguerite received.
