Cocagne, NB – Marie Després, 69, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, after a lengthy illness.
Born in, Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Eric and Dorice (Dallaire) Collette.
Besides her mother, she will be sadly missed by her husband, Lucien Després; her two daughters, Liette Vienneau (Euloge) of Cocagne and Denise Caissie (Yvon) of Grande-Digue; her brother, Roger Collette (late Thérèse) of Bouctouche; her three sisters, Pauline Allain (late André) of Bouctouche Bay, Rachel LeBlanc (Ronald) and Gisèle Cormier both of Bouctouche; her grandson, Joël and his close friend Isabelle Boudreau; also by several nieces and nephews.
Marie was predeceased by her daughter, Charline (2004).
In respect to Marie’s wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Family will receive relatives and friends at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne slumber room on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 6 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 7 pm.
Donation to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Lung Association or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
