Grande-Digue, NB – Marie LeBlanc 79, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, October 31, 2013.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB on April 27, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Ursule (Hébert) Léger.
Marie will be sadly missed by her stepson, Aurèle Dupuis of Memramcook; her stepdaughter, Jeannette Dupuis of Amos, QC; one brother, Alfred Léger (Edith) of St-Charles; three sisters, Aline Melanson (late Marcelin) of Moncton, Laurise Grey of BC and Doris LeBlanc (late Gerard) of Shediac; one granddaughter , Christel; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Laurie LeBlanc (2008); three brothers, Hector, Lionel and Clovis; and four sisters, Edna, Lorraine, Amanda and Marianne.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Friday, November 1st from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Saturday, November 2nd at 11 am. No visitation on Saturday morning. Burial at a later date.
