Shediac, NB – Marie May LeBlanc, 81, formerly of Memramcook, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
Born in Edmundston, NB, she was the daughter of the late Dollard and Yvonne (Godin) Allain.
Marie May leaves behind her two daughters, Jacqueline Cormier (Gilles) of Memramcook and Lucille Doucette (Paul) of Campbellton, NB; her two grandchildren, Monique Cormier of Montreal, QC and Chantal Vaillancourt of Laval, QC; her sister, Marguerite Allain of Bouctouche and her brother, Albénie Allain of Leominster, USA; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Yvon (1987); her son, Léo-Paul (1985).
In respect of Marie May’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Dieppe Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 668 Champlain St, Dieppe on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 1 pm.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of “Résidence O Bon Soins” in Shediac and the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre for their kindness, compassion and care for Marie May during her stay with them.
