Bouctouche – It is with great sadness and great regret that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved, grandmother, mother, sister, daughter and friend, Mariette LeBlanc, on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the age of 45.
Mariette will be sadly missed by her daughter, Gabrielle LeBlanc (Bernard) of Ste-Anne-de-Kent; her grandson, Tyler, whom she loved dearly and was the light in her life; her long time special friend, Claude Richard with whom she resided; her mother, Fernande LeBlanc of Bouctouche, her three sisters, Monique LeBlanc (Olivier) of Bouctouche, Gisèle LeBlanc Melanson (Stéphane) of Cocagne and Jocelyne LeBlanc (Mathieu) of Bouctouche; her god daughter and niece, Monette LeBlanc (Ghislain Girouard); her nieces : Katelyn , Alyssa, Danika, Madison and Maya; and also several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Normand LeBlanc (May 18th, 2009).
She was employed at the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste as a cook and kitchen help, something she truly enjoyed doing, especially spending time with the residents.
Mariette will always be remembered for her kind heart, contagious smile, laughter and playful ways. She touched the heart of every person she met as she radiated with kindness and goodwill towards others.
Mariette, we love you and we will always keep you in our hearts…
Visitations will be at the Ste-Anne-de-Kent Slumber Room at the Ste-Anne-de-Kent RC Church on Friday, July 22nd from 10 am until time of the Funeral Service at 12:30 pm.
