Grande-Digue, NB – Martha Y. Richard, 64, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, January 9, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Moncton, NB on February 4, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and the late Irène (Richard) Robichaud.
Martha will be sadly missed by her husband, Jean-Paul Richard of Grande-Digue; her two daughters, Janice Cormier (Victor) and Michelle Nowlan (Denis) both of Dieppe; her three sisters, Alphonsine Arsenault (Alfred) of Rogersville, Cécile Robichaud of Moncton and Norma Jaillet (Ronald) of Grande-Digue; her two brothers, Raymond (Bertha) of Florida, USA and Yvon (Diane) of Memramcook; her sister-in-law, Irène Robichaud of Moncton; her brother-in-law, Lorenzo LeBlanc of Salisbury; her three grandchildren, Catherine, Nicolas and Claire; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Gérald and one sister, Angela.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitations on Tuesday morning. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Canadian Celiac Association (Moncton Chapter), the Tree of Hope or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
