Melanie Chamberlain, 99, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, passed away on Saturday, July 21st, 2007 at her residence.
Born in Shippagan, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mathias and the late Marguerite (née: Noel) Chiasson.
She is survived by three daughters: Therese (Walter) Ciechon of Virginia Beach, Opal Chamberlain and Zita Preston, both of Moncton; one son, Guy (Norma) of Moncton; 15 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren as well as by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Martin in 1944; one daughter, Marie and also by one sister, Clara.
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Monday, July 23rd, 2007, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7pm to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 9: 30 am until time of service.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Notre Dame-de-la-Paix R.C.C., on Tuesday, July 24th, 2007 at 10: 30 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe NB.
