Michael "Mike" Carroll
1960 ~ 2018

Shediac, NB – Michael "Mike" Carroll, 57, passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, January 19, 2018, after a brief but fierce battle with cancer.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of James "Jimmy" Carroll and the late Rose-May Carroll (nee Girouard). Mike loved Family, his past family roots through ancestry and genealogy, his present family of which he was so proud of, and in future generations as he is now a part of their history. Mike graduated from Mathieu-Martin high school in 1979 and from Université de Moncton in 1988. At the time of his passing he was a proud member of the Patriot family at LJR high school where he had been working for several years and will be sadly missed for his calm demeanor and his sense of humour. His passion for history and genealogy was pursued while being a member of the NB Genealogical Society and the Irish Association Moncton chapter.

Mike will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Annie LePage of Shediac; by his two sons, James Carroll (Joanne) of Grande-Digue and Philippe Carroll (Ashley) of Shediac; by his two brothers, Ronald Carroll (Monette) of Moncton and Paul Carroll of Montreal, QC; by his two sisters, Kathleen LeBlanc (Jean) of Moncton and Hélène Carroll of Bouctouche; by his sister-in-law, Michelle LePage of Sussex; by one grandson, Michael; by two nieces, Veronique and Angélique; by three nephews, Yves, Luc and Samuel; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Co-operative in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and from 7:00pm – 9:00pm and Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 9:30 am till the time of the funeral. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00am.

Donations to the Louis-J.-Robichaud High School (to establish a classroom for the development of autonomy for our students with needs) or to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated by the family.

The family invites you to sign an online book of condolences at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca.
