Cap-Pelé, NB – Michel Léger, 58, passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, October 5, 2015, after a lengthy illness.

Michel was a very dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He had many passions such as farming, reading and most of all working with his three sons. He was a very knowledgeable, hard working and compassionate man with so much to give. His greatest gifts of all were his presence, personality and contagious humor which will be forever missed.

Born on June 17, 1957 in Trois-Ruisseaux, NB, he was the son of the late Gervais and Lorraine (Brun) Léger.

Michel will be sadly missed by his spouse, Mona (LeBlanc); his three sons, Jeremy (Melissa), Fabien and Jacques (Karine) all of Moncton; his seven brothers, Guy (Madeleine), Roland (Janice), Raoul (Claudine), Gilles (Jocelyne), Victor all of Trois-Ruisseaux, Daniel (Jeanne) of Cap-Pelé ,Roussel (Denise) of Trois-Ruisseaux; his five sisters, Francine Donelle (Gerard) , Léonette Bourque (Donald) both of Cap-Pelé, Rolande (Claude) of St-Jacques, Ginette (Adrice) of Cap-Pelé and Janise of Trois-Ruisseaux; his three grandchildren, Abram, Abel and Ophélie; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Levi, Lorenzo and Reginald.

Visitations will be at the Ste-Thérèse d’Avila slumber room in Cap-Pelé, on Friday, October 9th, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation on Saturday morning. Funeral service will be held at the Ste-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé, on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 10:30 am.

Donations to the “Boîte à Lunch de l’école Donat Robichaud” or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
