Grand-Barachois, NB – Nancy Gamlin Légère, 59, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Léonard and Gabrielle (Roy) Gamlin.
Nancy was a Chartered Accountant and entrepreneur, running her own training company Concept Communications for 17 years. She was active in many charitable organizations and clubs. Nancy had a true zest for life. She had a passion for organizing events and bringing people together. When not traveling the globe with her adored husband, Nancy loved spending time on the beach, playing golf, bridge and above all hosting family and friends.
Nancy will be sadly missed by her husband, Paul-Émile; her two daughters, Natalie Légère (Jim) of Grand-Barachois and Nicole Doucet (Armand) of Dieppe; her brother, Ronald (Odette) of Ottawa; her three sisters, Joan Wong (Jim) of Ottawa, Louise Bourgeois (Claude) and Lucille Desjardins both of Moncton; her two granddaughters, Arianne and Audréanne; and many other cherished relatives and friends.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from10 until time of service at Passage Funeral Chapel at 11 am. Reception will follow.
Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
