Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Victor ″Vic″ and Lena Thornton (nee LeBlanc). Nancy was working at Sobeys Elmwood Drive, Moncton. She and Sterling enjoyed spending time at the Farm (Tidnish, NS) with her mother, the kids and her dogs. Nancy was her kids’ biggest fan at all their Hockey and baseball games.

Besides her mother, Lena of Moncton, Nancy will be missed by her loving husband of thirty years, Sterling Tozer of Moncton; by her daughter, Kayla of Moncton; by her two sons, Brett and Brian both of Moncton; by her brother, Doug Thornton (Pauline) of Moncton; also, by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, Nancy was predeceased by her brother, Robert "Bob".

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, NB, on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Thursday, February 22, 2019 from 9:00am till 10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Augustine’s RC Church, 340 Dominion Street (corner Mountain Road), Moncton, NB, on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11:00am.
