Moncton – Nick Evers passed away peacefully on May 12, 2021.
Born in The Hague, Netherlands, he was the son of Cornelis Evers and Bertha Evers (née Gerritsma).

In addition to his parents, Nick was predeceased by his brothers Frans (Jose), Ben (Jeanita), Albert (Marie-Rose), Kees (Evi); and sisters Ria (Paul) and Kitty (Jan).
Nick immigrated to Canada in 1956. His first job was at Lounsbury Furniture, where his talent in
electronics was quickly put to use. He then took a position at NBTel, working on the new microwave transmission system. Nick purchased an electronics repair business and named it Maritime Laboratories, which he operated until he retired in 1992. Nick’s wisdom was only exceeded by his great faith in God and his love and devotion to Jesus through Mary and St. Joseph. He lived his faith and everyone who met him felt this love.
