Norman LeBlanc, 94, of Manoir Notre-Dame, Moncton, passed away on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Jude and the late Bertha (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Prior to retirement, Mr. LeBlanc had worked for 38 years at Willet Foods and he also served in the Canadian Army. He was a member of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Parish.
He is survived by his wife Irène (née: Allain); one daughter, Berthe LeBlanc (François Bonin) of Moncton; two sons: Bernard (Christine) and Jean both of Moncton; one sister, Edith (late Raymond) Melanson of Moncton; one brother, Yvon (Thérèse) of Shediac; one granddaughter, Julie; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by, three sisters: Annie, Dora and Lorraine and three brothers: Alfred, Edgar and René.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service.
A celebration of the word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 at 11 am.
Interment in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.

Né à Moncton, il était fils de feu Jude et de feu Bertha (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Avant sa retraite, M. LeBlanc avait travaillé pendant 38 ans chez Willet Foods et a aussi servi dans l’armée canadienne. Il était membre de la paroisse Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Irène (née: Allain) une fille, Berthe LeBlanc (François Bonin) de Moncton; deux fils: Bernard (Christine) et Jean tous deux de Moncton; une sœur, Edith (feu Raymond) Melanson de Moncton; un frère, Yvon (Thérèse) de Shediac; une petite fille, Julie; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Autre ses parents, trois sœurs: Annie, Dora et Lorraine et trois frères: Alfred, Edgar et René l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363, rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le lundi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le mardi de 10h jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.
Une célébration de la parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le mardi 14 mars 2017, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe.
Un don à la Fondation CHU Dumont « Oncologie » serait apprécié par la famille.
