Norman Vautour, 74, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, May 12th 2010, at the Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Omer and the late Elise (née: Bastarache) Vautour.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Vautour had been employed as a sheet metal worker.
He is survived by three daughters: Louise (Gary) of Moncton, Gloria (Frank) and Susan (Louis), both of Dieppe; one son, Andy (Donna) of Lloydminster, AB; one sister, Florine (Dwane) of St.-Williams, ON; three brothers: Paul-Emile (Rita) of Dieppe, Joe (Lillianne) of Stoney Creek, ON and Neri (Louise) of Dieppe; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Doris in 1987; one infant son, Michel and also by one brother, Junior.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Monday, May 17th 2010, at 10: 30 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

À l’Hôpital régional Dr Georges-L.-Dumont, le mercredi 12 mai, 2010 à l’âge de 74 ans, est décédé Norman Vautour, domicilié à Dieppe, N.-B.
Né à Moncton, N.-B., il était fils de feu Omer et de feu Elise (née: Bastarache) Vautour.
Avant sa retraite, M. Vautour avait travaillé dans la fabrication de tôlerie.
Il laisse dans le deuil trois filles: Louise (Gary) de Moncton, Gloria (Frank) et Susan (Louis), toutes deux de Dieppe; un fils, Andy (Donna) de Lloydminster, AB; une soeur, Florine (Dwane) de St-Williams, ON; trois frères: Paul-Emile (Rita) de Dieppe, Joe (Lillianne) de Stoney Creek, ON et Neri (Louise) de Dieppe; 6 petits-enfants; 1 arrière petit-enfant ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son épouse, Doris en 1987; un fils, bébé Michel ainsi qu’un frère, Junior l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le dimanche de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, Dieppe, N.-B., le lundi 17 mai, 2010 à 10h 30.
