1944 ~ 2018
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Edgar and the late Régina Bourque (nee LeBlanc). Normand was the owner of Norm’s Burner Service and loved serving his customers. He loved the water, his cottage, gardening, sports, spending time with his family and his dear wife, Maria.
Normand will be missed by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Maria Bourque of Grande-Digue; by his son, Denis (Michelle Majeau) of Moncton; by his two daughters, Isabelle Babineau (Bernie) and Nathalie Bourque (Mike Richard) all of Dieppe; by his four sisters, Annette Bourque (feu Alyre) of Grand-Digue, Lorraine Richard (Aldoria) of Cocagne, Lucie Melanson (feu Jean-Paul) of Grande-Digue, Denise Cormier (Raoul) of Cocagne; by his two brothers, Jean-Paul (Léola) of Cocagne and Léon-Guy (Andréa) of Bathurst; by his brother-in-law, Raymond Breau of Grande-Digue; by his five grandchildren, Julien, Mathieu, Sara, Jacob and Alexis; also by several nephews and nieces.
Besides his parents, Normand was predeceased by his three sisters, Jeannine Vautour, Rose-Marie Désprès and Gloria Breau.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. There will be no visitation at the funeral home on Thursday morning. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at La Visitation RC Church, Grande-Digue, NB, on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00am.
