Grande-Digue, NB – Odule Bourgeois, 96, faithful husband, loving father and grandfather, Odule was loved by many, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, December 4, 2016.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Léandre and Virginie (Brun) Bourgeois.
Odule will be sadly missed by his wife for seventy years Yvonne (LeBlanc) Bourgeois; his four sons, Ronaldo of Grande-Digue, Gilles of Moncton, Charles-Edouard (Marie) of Québec and Jean-Robert (Sylvie) of Memramcook; his sister, Stella Petitpas (feu Aquila) of Edmunston; his ten grandchildren, Justin, Jean Philippe, Monika, Annie, Genevieve, Marc André, Anitya, Pamyna, Virginie and Louis Charles; his two great grandchildren, Felix and Marie Claire.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Armand and his sister, Hélène.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac-Bridge on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11 am.
Donations to CHU Dumont foundation (palliative care) or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
