Bouctouche, NB – Omer Richard, 85, passed away peacefully at the Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche, NB, on Saturday, July 18th, 2020.
Born in St-Louis-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Albert P. and the late Eva Richard (born Daigle).
Omer will be sadly missed by his wife, Clarisse Richard (born LeBlanc); two sons, Maurice Richard (Linda) of Petawawa, ON, and Réjean Richard of Cocagne; one daughter, Jocelyne Collette (Maurice) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; one brother, Maxime Richard (Jeannette) of Dieppe; one sister, Aurore Allain (Normand) of Cocagne; five grandchildren, Mathieu, Jérémie, Rémi, Gaétan and Germain; seven great grandchildren, Audrée, Évangéline, Quinn, Eleanor, Abigail, Arielle and Olivier; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Omer was predeceased by one brother, Ovila and one sister, Yvette.
In respect of Omer’s wishes, a private funeral service will be held at a later date for the immediate family.
The family want to thank the staff of the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste for all the good care and support provided to Omer and his family during the hardest moments.
