Oscar LeBlanc, 65, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Friday, November 30th, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in Memramcook, NB, he was the son of the late Gérard and the late Juliette (née: Pellerin) LeBlanc.
Mr. LeBlanc had been employed at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital for over 30 years.
He is survived by one son, Jeoff LeBlanc of Shediac; two sisters: Annette (Francis) Gaudet of Cormier’s Cove and Sylvia (Ulysse) LeBlanc of Pré-d’en-Haut; one sister-in-law, Nora LeBlanc of Waltham, MA; Jeoff’s mother, Maryse and the extended Bourque family, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Gérald.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and also Wednesday from 9 am until time of funeral, which will be celebrated from the Chapel on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at 10 am.
Interment in the Saint-Thomas Parish Cemetery, Memramcook, NB.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation « Oncology » or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family
Au Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le vendredi 30 novembre 2012, à l’âge de 65 ans, est décédé Oscar LeBlanc. Il demeurait à Moncton, N.-B.
Né à Memrancook, N.-B., il était fils de feu Gérard et de feu Juliette (née Pellerin) LeBlanc.
M. LeBlanc avait travaillé à l’Hôpital Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont pendant 30 ans.
Il laisse dans le deuil son fils, Jeoff LeBlanc de Shediac; deux soeurs: Annette (Francis) Gaudet de Cormier’s Cove et Sylvia (Ulysse) LeBlanc de Pré-d’en-Haut; une belle-soeur Nora LeBlanc de Waltham, MA; la mère de Jeoff, Maryse et la grande famille Bourque ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Outre ses parents, son frère, Gérald l’a précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le mardi de 19h à 21h et le mercredi de 9h jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles qui auront lieu en la chapelle, le mercredi 5 décembre 2012 à 10h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial Saint-Thomas, Memramcook, N.-B.
Un don à la fondation Hôpital Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont ou à la Société Canadienne du Cancer serait apprécié par la famille.
