McKees Mills, NB – Ovila Dallaire, 90, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, February 12, 2018.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Abel and Eleonore (Maillet) Dallaire.
Ovila will be missed by his four sons, Donald, Paul, Wayne and Gerry; his six daughters, Annette Dallaire, Muriel Boucher (Louis), Pauline Dallaire, Denise Dallaire, Claudette Dallaire and Rita Trew (Richard); his granddaughter that he raised, Tina Dallaire; his sister and several brothers; his twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; also by several nephews and nieces.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Laura and several brothers.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. As per request, there will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greater Moncton SPCA or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
